Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of good urological care. The following investigations are arranged in-house or coordinated with partner labs and imaging centres in Kanpur.
Uroflowmetry: A non-invasive test that records the speed and volume of urine flow. Used to assess prostate enlargement, urethral stricture and bladder dysfunction. Urodynamic Studies: Detailed assessment of bladder pressure, capacity and emptying — essential for complex voiding problems, neurogenic bladder and post-operative evaluation. PSA & Prostate Screening: Prostate-Specific Antigen testing, digital rectal examination and risk-stratified screening for prostate cancer in men over 50 (or earlier if at risk). TRUS-Guided Prostate Biopsy: Transrectal ultrasound-guided sampling of the prostate to confirm or rule out cancer when PSA or imaging is suspicious. Cystoscopy: Flexible or rigid scope examination of the urethra and bladder — for haematuria, recurrent UTI, stricture, tumour surveillance and unexplained urinary symptoms. Ultrasound KUB & Doppler: Bedside ultrasound of kidneys, ureters and bladder; scrotal Doppler for varicocele, torsion and testicular masses. Semen Analysis & Andrology Workup: Semen parameters, hormone profile, scrotal ultrasound and targeted genetic tests for couples investigating male-factor infertility.
Most investigations are outpatient. Results are explained clearly so you understand the next step.
